Question counts are for the free games on this site. The Floom app has 300+ quizzes in six formats.

Which couple game should you play?

How the games work

Most games here are matching games: you both answer the same questions and see where your answers line up. The How Well Do You Know Me quiz and the Couple Quiz are guessing games, where one of you answers and the other predicts the answers.

Each game has 8 or 9 decks of up to 12 questions, and a deck takes a few minutes per person. Every question is on the page, so you can also read them out loud without playing. For longer lists to talk through, see the deep questions for couples and the 36 questions to fall in love.

Playing on two phones

These pages work on a single phone. In the Floom app you connect your accounts and each answer on your own iPhone, from the same couch or different time zones. That makes it a good fit for long-distance couples.

Questions

What are good games for couples?

Question games are the easiest to start: they need nothing but the two of you and a phone. Would You Rather, This or That, Never Have I Ever and Who’s Most Likely are light and quick. Red Flag or Green Flag, Is It Cheating? and the Compatibility Test lead to bigger conversations. All 10 are free on this page.

Can we play couple games on one phone?

Yes. Every game here is made for one phone: Player 1 answers a deck, hands the phone over, and Player 2 answers the same questions. In the guessing games, Player 2 guesses Player 1’s answers instead. Your results appear side by side at the end.

Can we play over text or on a video call?

Yes. Open any game on a call and read the questions out loud, or send them one at a time over text. The Long-Distance Games are written for couples who live apart. In the Floom app you each answer on your own iPhone, wherever you are, and the results open together.

Are these couple games free?

Yes. All 10 games and 942 questions on this site are free and need no sign-up. The Floom app is free to download too, and Floom Pro unlocks the full library of 300+ quizzes.

Are any of the games 18+?

No. None of the decks on this site are explicit. Is It Cheating? mentions sexting and porn in general terms, and one Red Flag or Green Flag round is about pressure and boundaries around intimacy. The Floom app keeps its 18+ questions in a separate category that you can hide.

How long does a game take?

A deck of 12 questions takes about two minutes per person. Each game has 8 or 9 decks, so you can play one as a warm-up or several for a whole evening.
