What is Floom?
Floom is a couples app for iPhone that helps you discover new sides of each other. You each answer quizzes and daily questions on your own phone, then see your answers side by side: where you read each other right, and where you still surprise each other. Shared widgets for notes, doodles and countdowns keep you close between conversations.
Does my partner need to download the app too?
Yes. Floom is made for two, so you each install the app and connect your accounts with an invite code or link. Both of you accept the connection, and you can be connected to one partner at a time. Quizzes, daily questions and shared widgets all start working once you’re paired.
Is Floom free?
Floom is free to download and includes a free plan. Floom Pro is an optional monthly or annual subscription that unlocks the full quiz library and unlimited custom quizzes. When one of you has Floom Pro, both of you get it while you’re paired, so a couple only needs one subscription.
What kinds of questions are there?
Floom has 1,500+ questions across 100+ quizzes and five ways to play: This or That, Would You Rather, Never Have I Ever, Who’s Most Likely, and Red Flag or Green Flag. They cover relationships, family, money, travel, food, hobbies and everyday life. Floom is for adults 18+, and you can hide intimacy questions with the “Hide 18+ content” setting.
Can we make our own quizzes?
Yes. Write your own questions about the trips, plans and inside jokes only the two of you know, add photos, and send the quiz straight to your partner. Save your decks and replay them later to see how your answers change over time. Floom Pro unlocks unlimited custom quizzes.
Does Floom work for long-distance couples?
Yes. You answer quizzes on your own phones wherever you are, and Floom’s lock screen and home screen widgets let you send notes, leave doodles, count your days together and count down to the dates that matter. An optional distance widget shows how far apart you are, using your location only while the app is open.
Is our data private?
Yes. What you share in Floom is visible only to you and your partner. It isn’t published, used for advertising or sent to third-party AI providers, and Floom doesn’t sell personal data or use ad trackers. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and you can delete your account anytime in the app’s settings.
