Common questions
How do I connect with my partner?
Install Floom on both iPhones (iOS 18 or later) and sign in with Apple. Then send your partner an invite code or link from the app. You both accept the connection, and you can be connected to one partner at a time.
How do I unpair from my partner?
Either of you can unpair at any time in the app, without the other’s consent. You stop seeing each other’s new activity, and the location, photo status and countdown data of that connection is deleted.
Does one Floom Pro subscription cover both of us?
Yes. When either of you has Floom Pro, both of you get Pro features while you’re paired. Your partner loses this access if you unpair or the subscription ends.
How much does Floom Pro cost?
Floom is free to download and has a free plan. On the US App Store, Floom Pro starts at $8.99 a month or $19.99 a year. The App Store shows the price for your country before you buy.
How do I cancel Floom Pro?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Floom and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to stop the next renewal. You keep Floom Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are processed by Apple, so Apple handles refunds under its own policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete my account?
Delete your account in the app’s account settings, or email support@tryfloom.app. Deletion is permanent. Content you created together as a couple, such as shared quiz results, widgets, drawings, notes and countdowns, is deleted for both of you.
How do I hide 18+ questions?
Turn on the “Hide 18+ content” setting in Floom. It hides the Intimacy category and other adult questions, and you can change it at any time.
How do I add a Floom widget?
Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen until the apps jiggle, tap Edit, then Add Widget, search for Floom and pick a size. For the Lock Screen, touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, choose Lock Screen and tap the widget area. Connect with your partner first so the widgets have something to show.
Does the distance widget track my location?
The distance widget is optional and part of Floom Pro. Floom uses your location only while the app is open and shares it only with your partner, whose app works out the distance. It keeps only your most recent location and deletes it when you unpair or delete your account.
Who can see our answers?
Only you and your partner. Your answers, notes, doodles and photos aren’t published, sent to third-party AI providers or sold.
Is Floom available on Android?
Not yet. Floom is iPhone only and needs iOS 18 or later.
